Handle With Care

Life is fragile, well we know
Each soul a billion ways to go
Strong forces pull from every side
Sometimes you can't enjoy the ride

Decisions are needed, things are real
A dream is not the final deal
So listen, yes, and read the signs
Then move with care through fields of mines

The future should be good for all
So what's this grief which may befall?
The truth won't let us hide from doubt
We want to live, not be without

Yet life's explosive now and then
The wrong wire kills a thousand men
A reckless move could be the end
Many years it takes to mend

Then grow more strong each passing day
Until it's time to move away
For life's too short to simply stare
Take action in life, but handle with care

I think the closing line is very profound. You might consider changing the second line of the first stanza to something hinting at a more specific end for each soul. As it stands it aludes to the vast number of possible threats. I think it would be more ominous if it spoke of each spirits personal and unique end. Its isn't a nessesary change at all, this poem is great. Is just a thought it might be cool.

I gave it an 88. I don't know if this would be considered over or under-rating, but it looks to me like a solid number for a solid poem.
