MonstersA Poem by Simon J HallidayAn Inspirational and Uplifting Poem EVERY DAY from Simon J. Halliday!
Monsters
Monsters can be found, you know If you discover just where they go But do you want to seek them out? Take my advice, and just say no For 'though they can be cuddly things They also have sharp teeth, and wings They move so fast and bite so hard And may destroy both paupers and kings So make your choice, but think quite deep Take clues from others and whilst you sleep And when you act, sow things which last And make your chance, at last, to reap The monsters won't let all this be They'll interfere, now hear my plea Just leave the monsters well alone And then your life can be care-free (c) Simon J.
