Something New

Every day there's something new
And here we are, still me and you
How much has changed through all the years?
Our hopes and dreams, our loves and fears

The human search will not relent
The truths we found and spoke, we meant
Although things change around our lives
The truth within still fights and strives

So keep on moving, through the fray
Ignoring won't move things away
It all is real, it all is there
But keep your goal, and always care

For somewhere out there, all is known
Each gift of kindness, love that's shown
It won't be missed, it helps somehow
And something new will start from now
