The VisitorsA Poem by Simon J HallidayAn Inspirational and Uplifting Poem EVERY DAY from Simon J. Halliday!
The Visitors
Listen closely, can you hear? They're on their way, will soon be here From distant lands they're searching on And we're still wondering where they've gone For caves and paintings hold the clues Da Vinci, Tesla - try their shoes For knowledge is passed around each land And only courage will help you stand The force of life which all could hold Is used by those who think so bold That nothing escapes their watchful eye Hope good prevails, and never the lie Technology more than rabbits now breeds It's come to life to suit our 'needs' A film in light, a voice is sent From east to west, at speed of intent So watch the skies and question more The future holds so much in store And will the visitors like our view? I hope so greatly. How about you? (c) Simon J. Halliday 2013 For more info. on Simon J. Halliday: http://www.mysteriousbooks.co.uk © 2013 Simon J Halliday |
