Material Gains
Who is happy? Raise your hand How much was paid? A hundred grand? The things we have might make us smile And then they'll rust in just a while Of course it's good to build and grow Our plans are set, we reap and sow Yet when ensnared in want or greed We sacrifice the things we need So search beyond, not just on earth This place where we were given birth For destiny won't conclude down here Eternal truths will beat your fear Submit to truth, allow it in A quiet voice amidst the din Materials may be gained and lost Remember your values, never the cost (c) Simon J.
