What Might Have Been

What Might Have Been

We'll never know what might have been
The mystery remains unseen
Oh daring soul, why must you flee?
The need is great for bravery

Within this world such lies are told
The truth takes time, yet shall unfold
But will you search or look away?
The choice is yours, not mine to say

The dangers live, none would deny
But fear can blind each hopeful eye
So rise above the doubtful throng
There's much to find beyond what's wrong

A riddle indeed, yet simply this
Your mind seeks peace, your soul seeks bliss
A world in turmoil, no surprise
But true conviction never shies

The focus needed brings what's true
Apply your mind, not just for you
For conquering weakness helps us all
Allows each soul to hear its call

We're part of something far more great
There's no more time for us to wait
So turn each page and read each scene
Think future, not what might have been

Very heartfelt and, again, I applaud you. Your feelings and pain are evident and this plays out like lyrics.
