Time and Trouble

Time will pass and trouble can come

Perspectives change, it's nothing to some

They keep on living through every cloud

They never complain or cry out loud

Remember the life we live so well

Is not for free, the price won't tell

But things can come and things will go

Tomorrow there's something new to know

No matter what we strive to be

There's never a cost to living free

But don't pretend that peace is all

Without a fight the meek can fall

Take trouble to rise - take heart, grow strong

Make sure you're clear, we hear your song

Don't now imagine your words are dead

For every one's in someone's head

You have the time to care each day

The way you work, the way you play

There's always chance to help things flow

With gentle kindness, wherever you go

I don't care who or where you are

The size of house, your boat or car

But have respect and help me climb

Through trouble I came, so give me time
