The Bitter PillA Poem by Simon J HallidayAn Inspirational and Uplifting Poem EVERY DAY from Simon J. Halliday! The Bitter Pill Disregard me if you will For I am quite a bitter pill But if you're brave enough to eat You'll find you've had more than your fill I don't taste sweet, I don't bring cheer I'm not fine wine or premium beer I hide in shadows with watchful eyes Then come to light, provoking fear But please don't get me wrong, dear friend My sights are not foreseeing your end Intent on helping every day I only have advice to lend So listen with calm and open heart The taste seems ill and terribly tart Yet only truth is what you'll get So swallow the pill, and life can start (c) Simon J.
