Inspiration

Inspiration,

A fickle thing.

It comes when least expected,

It listens not to your whims,

Only to its own.

It doesn't care for timing,

Sometimes it seems that it comes,

Only to make you stop,

And do what it says.

I've never been sure,

If it's really that good a thing.

Sometimes, inspiration can come from strange things. I always get it from things in real life, like crows, or colors. I use the crow thing a lot, because I love them. Anyways, a lovely poem. Thank you for sharing!
