Life is Cruel,

Or it feels that way.

It gives you something good,

Something Great.

But there's a catch,

There's always a catch.

Even the best things,

Can end.

And they will,

Life is Cruel,

Or it feels that way.

If it isn't to you,

Be happy.

But if it is,

Good luck to all of you,

Because Life is Cruel.

there's a saying, you know..."life's a b***h and then you die" (i suppose i don't know you well enough to use coarse language...sorry). it does make one wonder though...why do we (human beings) go through so much punishment through out life just to continue to the next day for a little bit more punishment! life is very cruel and seems to get crueler everyday but not near cruel enough to throw away....the chief aspiration of every being is to live...but life is cruel...sorry. i'm kinda rambling now....anyway...great write

It's all about perspective-that's true-guess if life was not cruel then we would not appreciate it as much or mourn when someone we love dies.

Every life is cruel to a point. You just have to decide where that point is for you then change it...maybe it gets worse so you change it again...but life is a b----, wont get you into heaven, as they say. But the catch, is to know where it is and when it has passed you by. Lost silences is how I describe them. You can get alot said in such a short poem. Envy, envy... Very nice =)

Yes it is! Life isn't fair, it's just fairer than death. It seems even the good things in life are just a set up to make the fall harder, to makes the bad seem worse. Good expression here. I like the use of the word cruel; seems fitting.
