A SILENT LOVE

The feeling of being in love for perhaps the first and the last time is depicted through the poem

I wonder sometimes what made me look at her. The bright, shiny eyes with a dusky texture. She stood on the pavement everyday, and I took a glance in my own way. Something that drew me towards her, something that made us closer and closer. A silent feeling glittered by her smile, that's what I longed every while. Brightening the mornings, lifting up the nights. My heart flew just like the colourful kites. To her strangers we were, to me , that was no longer. In my dreams, she came, perhaps I was never the same. We neither spoke, nor shared a single stroke. But still I felt the connection, an emotion I could never mention. Then one fine day, the path lost its sheen, looking for her, my soul so keen. I never wanted the separation, alas god took away such a wonderful creation. Some destinies are decided by the heavens above, I wish it hadn't been 'A SILENT LOVE', 'A SILENT LOVE'
