Fix Yours

Fix Yours

A Poem by Silverwolf

He left you broken,
Shattering you with words unspoken.
I collected what was left behind.
Even the parts you didn't think I could find.
Some pieces cracked beyond repair,
Used mine to fill the holes,
Left by love's warfare.
Given you everything I could give,
Just so you could live.
Hot shards stab my chest,
Sending me into cardiac arrest.
Leave and smile like never before.
Forcing me to ignore,
All the pain this world has in store.
Broken to the core,
Because you used my heart to fix yours.
