 Kiss You

I’ve been waiting for years,

To see you give that smile to me,

And it was worth all that waiting,

When you let me kiss you.

I can taste apples when our lips meet,

And I smell vanilla in the air.

It’s like I didn’t have a choice but to fall in love,

You really don’t play this game fair.

I promise you that you’re safe with me,

I promise I’ll make you see,

Why you don’t have to hold back or be shy,

When you’re with me.

Kissing you is an addictive drug,

One I just can’t get enough of,

Please give yourself over and let all your doubts die,

Take my hand and we can spread our cupid wings and fly.

We fell in love,

Like best friends do,

With silly smiles,

And silly tingling lips too.

I’ll run my fingers through your hair,

And draw circles on your arm.

As you fall asleep in my lap,

I’ll give you a first goodnight kiss and you’ll give yours right back leaving us to dream about each other.

I love you,

I’ll never get tired of saying that.

But there’s another thing I’ll never get tired of too,

Calling you beautiful as I kiss you.
