Falling

Falling in love,

Falling for you.

Falling asleep,

Falling asleep next to you.

Your eyes may be closed,

But I can still feel them burning into my soul.

I just can’t get you out of my mind,

Somehow you went and made yourself the only one on it.

Laying here falling in love with your soft breathing.

Making me have to catch my breath every time I can’t help but stare and your angel face.

You’re not even doing anything,

But somehow you’re still doing everything you need to make me fall.

We may get on each other’s nerves,

But that alright with me,

There’s no fun in everything being easy,

And because you’re still beautiful when you’re angry.

By pure instinct and heart,

My brain wasn’t even thinking,

When I brushed the hair out of the way of your dreamy beauty.

It was worth all the nerves when I saw the sleepy smile on your face.

My ears will never get enough,

Of listening to that honey filled voice.

And my mouth will never get tired of,

Whispering sweet nothing into your heart.

It doesn’t matter,

That there are other people in the room.

Because it feels like it’s just me and you.

You’ve got me falling in love while I’m falling asleep next to you.
