Confused

Confused

A Poem by Silverwolf
"

A poem about love worth being confused for.

"

Confused

She makes my head spin,

Every time I see her grin,

Every time she asks me how I’ve been,

I just can’t find the words I want to say.

She makes my heart beat fast,

Then she makes it skip a beat.

I can’t get enough.

Of all this uncertainty.

One second I’m overthinking every little thing about us,

Then as soon as I see her I’m barely thinking at all.

The scent of vanilla muddles my mind,

Making me okay with living in the unknown.

So she can take her time,

But I have to make her mine,

Because she’s worth every single second of heartache,

Every single moment of chaos.

I don’t mind all of the disarray,

As long as I get to see her every day,

As long as I get to say,

I love her.

She’s making me insane,

Making me feel like I lost my brain.

And every moment seems to go by too fast,

Which I have to make every smile, every kiss, last.

So to her I say,

That I don’t mind being a little confused,

Just as long as I get to be confused about,

You.
