Last First Kiss

Let’s live,

Every moment like it’s our last.

Just let go of that troubled past.

Let’s fly through the sky with hearts of cracked glass.

I know we’re seeing,

Where this road takes us.

Driving down this sunburnt street,

In search of a chance.

But maybe we’re taking things a little too slow.

I don’t want this love to fade away.

Not before I get out all the sweet nothings that I want to say

It might not be much but I want to give you at least one last first kiss.

So let me hit the gas,

Before our chance has passed.

I’m not saying we can’t take in the scenery,

But I need to show you what you mean to me.

Just let me rock both of our worlds,

With that hello-goodbye kiss.

And then we’ll know where this road’s taking us.

Let your wild side show.

Let the good times roll.

Give me a sign,

Let me know whether or not I should keep enjoying this ride.

Because if we do this just right,

It’ll be worth the fight.

Even if it’s just one,

Even if it turns out to be our last first kiss it’ll all be worth it.
