I know we’ve been down this road

A couple thousand times or so

But I think we need to give me and you a go

Because pretty girl I really like your flow

 

Now I might come off a bit abrasive

But darling I think I can be pretty persuasive

Cus’ to put it simply

Without you I just can’t be the real me

 

Now please allow me sweeten the pot

But only because I like you a lot

Love I just gotta let you know

That for you I’d brave any fire, storm, or snow

 

Now you’re making feel things I’ve never felt

With a single touch or a sugar sweet smile you make my heart melt

How is it that just one girl?

Can be worth more than a dozen priceless diamonds and pearls

 

And when I catch your eye from across the room

With the shining sunlight turning them a beautiful stormy blue

Getting me into trouble while I try and keep my cool

But we both know it’s you making me act like such a love struck fool

 

So when I get you alone

It’s just like magic from a wishbone

Sending signals into my heart that no one else can clone

Making my mind spin just like a cyclone

 

Me and you have known each other a while now

Who are we kidding anyhow?

Because it’s always been you and me

And I’m not joking when I tell you that my love for you is deeper than the sea

 

So what do you say?

Because I’ve never met another who could make me feel this way

And life’s too short to let something like this just slip away

So why don’t you just meet me half way?
