Princess

Princess

A Poem by Silverwolf
"

A love poem for a special girl, my 50th Poem!!!! A lot of references to my other poems near the end.

"

Princess

She sits on a throne

Made of laughter and sunlight

Her eyes are filled with an infinite amount of hope

Her smile is the reason the sun comes up day after day

She leaves me breathless

With every touch

With her I don’t need any coffee

Because she’s my only pick-me-up

She is loved by all

She cares for all things both big and small

Imperfections make her perfect

And since the day I met her

My heart beat to a new tune

Never have I met a girl

Who would live life to the fullest

Who would make every moment hers

Who would play in the leaves and who knew what love means

How is it that she stays so grounded?

When she seems so high above us

She’s The Girl, She’s Cupids Daughter

She smells like Vanilla, and can always get me to Dance

She makes me Miss the Leaves, and I won’t let her go Till’ the Sun Comes Up

So while I happily remain Love’s loyal fool

She remains a beautiful Princess through and through
