You snuck into my life

On the tips of your toes

Silent like a shadow

I guess that’s just the way that it goes

 

I didn’t even realize

You tripped no alarms

You swept right passed all my guards

Like it wasn’t even hard

 

With almost feline grace

And an angelic smile on your face

You reached your goal

And left a permanent criminal calling card in my soul

 

How is it that I couldn’t see?

Just how close you managed to get to me

Because you didn’t steal diamonds, or any priceless works of art

No, you’re the gorgeous little thief who stole my heart
