Love’s Little Things

 

The way she bites her lip

The way laughs

The way she gives me that saccharine smile

Love’s little things just begging me to stop and stay a while

I can’t help but stare

When she starts dancing

Making my heart start prancing

I can’t keep my eyes off her

The way she makes my pulse race

The way I can’t help but listen when she starts talking

The way she sings along to all those old love songs

When she’s around

I just can’t seem to catch

The breath that keeps slipping away

So I’ve just given up the chase

Because I’m paralyzed every time I see her face

The way she pushes all my buttons

The way she looks cute even when she’s mad

The way she lifts me up whenever I’m sad

It’s loves little things that make this life worth loving
