Cupid's Daughter

Cupid's Daughter

A Poem by Silverwolf
"

A love poem!

"

Cupids Daughter

Bow in hand

She took careful aim

Let that arrow loose

And now I’ll never be the same

She didn’t mean to do it

It was an honest mistake

She made me fall for her

Giving me feelings I couldn’t fake

So now for the first time in my life

I feel free of that constant strife

She’s broken the lock I had on my heart

I’ve never loved before but she’s my reason to start

Her touch sends shivers down my spine

I think that’s the universe giving me a sign

Because when my lips land on hers

She’s got me feeling just fine

Her angel wings are tipped in pink

That look in her eye sending me into an eternal love spiral, in which I was destined to sink

Those ruby red lips making me feel like I’m in a dream

And I’m never gonna wanna wake up

She’s love incarnate

With a Valentine’s Day candy kiss

Making me fall in love without even trying

She’s Cupid’s daughter, being near her leaves me in bliss
