Till’ the Sun Comes Up

 

Lying in this dark room

All alone

The shadows are my only companions

They whisper sins into my soul

 

And there’s only one thing holding back the night

Just one warm glow lighting me up

Like starlight

And that’s you

 

Over and over again

You run through my thoughts

Like a goddess of unattainable dreams

Sending my demons back from where they came

 

So right now in this single moment

I’m gonna drop this cracked shield I’ve held for ages

And I’m gonna drive these empty streets

Straight to where you are

 

And the second I see those gorgeous eyes

Like diamonds in an angels mask

My heart starts exploding like the fourth of July

And I can’t help but start smiling

 

I just can’t believe my luck

Kissing your lips is an addictive drug

Your smile like bright as moonlight, I think I’m gonna make you mine
