Sugar

Sugar

Sugar

She has strawberries on her breath

And a sparkle in her eye

The passion in her heart

Burning like an oven-top

Her eyes

Are like chocolate

They make me melt when mine meet hers

And just a glance in my direction leaves me spinning like a mixer

Her lips taste like a candy store

With honey sweetened words

Flowing like a nectarous river

That leaves me stuck wanting more

Just the air around her

Is filled with a saccharine taste

Every kiss leaves me with cavities

That I don’t plan on getting fixed

Without her I’d be lost

In a world without any taste

I’m sour and bitter without her

But just being near gives me a sugar rush that always leaves a smile on my face
