Golden Heart

Golden Heart

A Poem by Silverwolf
"

A love poem about someone who seems unattainable

"

Golden Heart

Smile filled with sunlight

Eyes like shining stars

Wrapped in silver silk

She steps out of her long ebony car

Hair spun by a deal-maker from a fairy tail

With a heart blessed by Eros

She seems so high above me

A queen of Hearts sitting proud on her throne, while I remain the loyal joker

Her Midas touch makes the whole world glow

With beauty even Helen of Troy couldn’t match

She shines with an ethereal light

Cast by her sterling silver soul

The grace she radiates bests both queens and goddesses

Poise and unattainable love radiate like sunlight from her smile

She who could rise higher that the heavens

But chooses to stay down to Earth, showing the people what divinity really is, with her Golden heart
