Hell's Heart

Hell's Heart

A poem about a hellish love

Hell’s Heart

Lucifer’s love
Is an addictive drug
With the taste of apples
On her breath

With snake like grace
And a devilish smile on her face
She whispers sweet nothings
Into my soul

A body that bests Aphrodite in beauty
The definition of sin
Words sweet as sugar
Eyes filled fire inviting you in

With a foxes smile
She stalks her prey
A simple touch on the arm
Strong enough to make angels fall

She’s like honey and poison
Leaving lipstick on your collar
The aphrodisiac that is her kiss hypnotizing you
Starting the car that drives that fabled highway leading to brimstone and fire

She’s a promise
One of pleasure leading to pain
She take all you can give and then leave you to the sins
She’s a succubus of love, and where she comes from she has only one name, she’s Hell’s heart
