I Miss the LeavesA Poem by SilverwolfA poem about lost love, please enjoy and review.I Miss the Leaves Memories blow in on a
breeze I stand shakily where
we once danced Where I held you
tight On that brisk autumn
night Where fallen leaves
once laid Where you smile
shined brighter than the stars above The time when I was
the only thing on your mind And when you never
off of mine But now seasons have
past And the winter winds
stole those passion red leaves away The memories we made,
frozen and buried Love
that is now lost to you, and yearned for by me Why
did time take you from me? Whisking
you away to fly free through the sky And
while you say that you love the snow I
live in a past moment long ago the only word running through my mind being, “I
miss the leaves” © 2016 SilverwolfAuthor's Note
