SOLIDERA Poem by SilverwolfA poem in memory of someone close to meSOLIDER Strong and fierce the solider stood proud Till the end he always stood out in the crowd He fought through life with an iron will Holding strong against the hottest heat or the coldest chill Caring for family and friend He protected them all, refusing to bend Now rest, brave solider, your fight is done Rest your eyes, lay down your gun You’ve made us who we are, you’ve given us a chance Rest in peace, our solider, don’t spare a second glance We thank you our solider, we’ll see you again When our own fight has finally come to an end Sleep, our solider, and know how much you’ve done Rest in heaven and feel God’s grace surround you like the
