Moving on

This is one of my poems that is kind of sad but also serious so i hope you enjoy please comment!

 

I try my best but that's not good enough

Heartbreak and boys I'm tired of this stuff

 

Moving on, no more running to hide

I'm just happy with my friends by my side

 

Boyfriends aren't there through whatever

But friends are there always and forever

 

I'm so lucky to have them here

No more crying no more fear

 

When I'm down their always there

Like you ever gave a care

 

Sorry but I can't give anymore

All of these memories and what for?

 

Just so you can break my heart

I'm better off when we're apart

 

So I'm choosing my friends over you

Go ahead and cry some too

 

Now it's over this is really goodbye

I'm sick and tired of that lie

 

Now you know how I feel

"I love you" is never really for real
