All that i have

this is one of my sadder poems but i hope you enjoy

Face down in the ground drowned in tears

You've still said forever after all these years

 

I'm finally on my hands and doing real well

The place you call heaven I now call hell

 

I'm almost on my knees don't knock me down

I bet she looks real nice in that wedding gown

 

I try to stand up but I choke

You laugh at everything I say but this isnt a joke

 

How can you fight what you can't see?

This invisable war between you and me

 

But I'm the fallen soldier wounded, blood red

Vision blurry...gun shot...words unsaid

 

Colors mixed..black...gray

Familiar faces all fading away

 

They say remember but my mind is slipping

They say i love you but my heart is ripping

 

The past seems so far behind

Missing peices even you can't find

 

My lifes not perfect but then whose is?

Even with that girl by his side neither is his

 

You can punch me and push me around

But this time I'm standing my own ground

 

Playing all of your games and what for

I've given you all I have and you still want more
