I Don't Hate Myself

I Don't Hate Myself

A Poem by Silver Tree

I don't hate myself

because who I'm with

is another race.

I'm not lower than you,

or deceived.

I don't tell you

who to care for,

so don't tell me.

Why does my relationship

need to justify you're own decisions?

Aren't you supposed to be

the one who's so 'secure'?

My personal space

means my personal business.

Is that too much

for a simple mind to grasp?

Don't project bitterness onto me

so you can feel better for judging.

Before asking if I have

a problem with me,

you should ask yourself

that same questionl
