BreederA Poem by SilverTearRustedI want to be free not to breed in this sickness and desire Seduced by the light, let down by the fire Open wounds from the edge of the razor I cry out Will anyone hear me if I start to just shout Stand up and be counted in this game we call life Breed or don't breed, just lay down the verbal knife I can't stand when you look at me with pity in your love I don't need to feel seen, I know that I'm enough Yet I still keep screaming at the top of my lungs F**k you to cancer and life and the drugs Experiences flood the rivers to my eyes Til I can't see through the crimson bleeding out all the lies I don't care what you've done or what you've seen The only thing real is who we will be I just keep hoping that one day you'll see That I'm not a breeder... I'm nothing but me
