Hollow, Hollow

Hollow, Hollow

A Poem by SilverTearRusted

hollow, hollow whispers
losing memories of old
spilling dangerously away
into the bitter, bitter cold

hollow, hollow desire
waiting to be claimed
open arms outstretching slowly
afraid of bitter, bitter disdain

hollow, hollow anger
misaligned values behind my eyes
bleeding tears bearing witness
to bitter, bitter lies

hollow, hollow judgement
broken record too cracked to play
petty childishness invading creation
in bitter, bitter shades of grey

hollow, hollow screaming
not certain if I'm alive
waiting impatiently for inspiration
in this bitter, bitter life

I find it quite interesting how you've structured this poem. I really enjoyed this poem since I can relate to it. I don't really have a favorite part, because I like all of it. Nice flow of words and diction to push the reader through and keep them captivated. Excellent work!
