My Love For You

Just a little bit of writing that I started but never really finished...not sure I ever will.

My heart withers each day;

Never receiving word of you.

Oh, endless torment!

Wanting, but never obtaining;

Thoughts of you echo in my mind.

How my heart sighs!

Come to me, O, my love;

Join your hand with mine.

My love for you shines bright!

And when you finally receive word, it feels so good. Love's sweet torture.

Losing a love can shatter us into pieces. While this poem may never be finished, many other may come from how the pieces are arranged in the future. I know its hard to think about, but all of our heartbreaks lead us create something new, and adjust our image of the world.

I hope things go well for you, and that maybe in this case, your love will come back to you. May peace be with you both.

This isn't the typical heart-break poem. It is not about a love who has left me, but about one I should greatly love to be with; however, things are rather complicated, there. My newest poem "In My Heart" sort of correlates to this one.
