The Lost Soul (1st Scene)

The Lost Soul (1st Scene)

A Poem by Silver_Moon

A young girl

Lonely... cold...

Lost her beloved mother

... during the war...

Did not know where her father and brother were...

Sitting... lonely... cold...

Tears trickling down her soft, cold cheeks

Did not know what to do...

Only a girl of ten years...

... and life already gave her a death sentence.

She wished she was dead too...

Lying beside her mother in the grave...

Than to witness the violent and horrible war...

A war between families and friends...

Never be united... never be understood...

Could hear her stomach rumbled because of hunger...

Still wishing that she's with her beloved mother...

... feeling cold... and colder... and colder... until she could only see blackness around her...

Obviously unfinished, because you called it '1st Scene'. But although it presents a picture, it does leave the reader dissatisfied. No conclusions. No obvious way out. Descriptive, but a bit rambling.

This is so sad. Your imagination really came through here. Wonderfully written.
