Colorful Shadows

Through colors of smiles to waves of life

I want to make my day,
Full of colorful shadows
that makes my world turn up
and never look down

Never close ears
But, Closing my eyes
To see the reflection of beauty
Comes from your heart
I only hope

That someday, you'll see 
That you're my colorful shadows
which makes my world bright
Bright as a sun!
Clear as a skies

My poem for this month.sorry for been so long :) Well! I had no really idea how to make new. But, this time. I'm inspired because of her. Every time! She taught me lessons not only math but, also life .. and also, for my beloved sisters in CCC. Enjoy reading

If you think about the concept of "Colorful shadows" it doesn't necessarily make sense immediately because a shadow only consists of a black color. Essentially a shadow is a lack of light and a lack of light is a lack of color. However if you close your eyes tightly, you see shapes, shadows and colors. In my opinion, behind your eyes is the only place you'll see shadows with colors. It's like you say, closing one's eyes gives one the ability to see what is inside. Who you are determines what you see in darkness. Your fears, desires and emotions truly surface when immersed in darkness; the more primal aspects inch out.

This poem is a great depiction of that inner color we all have deep down within ourselves, one might say the only way to know you have a soul is to dream--to dream you must close your eyes. Embrace the darkness to let in the light!
