Veil of FearA Poem by SilverFishpanic !Enclosing, the sound of high pitched strain, clenching teeth, uneasy tongue, edge bitten. Same old pain triggered; misty veil, to feign. Bleeding out; a thousand times before 'twas written. A lament, a song of looking beyond, too far. Dreaming takes me away, but puts me in its box. Alas, to not see things for what they really are, swallowed by liquid reality, and melting clocks.
