Let's Part Ways

Let's Part Ways

A Poem by Silver Crow
"

Let us part ways. Four powerful yet sorrowful words.

"
Autumn,
With leaves falling under their own trees,
I also fell down.

It was hard, knowing that I depend on you all the time,
If I could have a wishing well in front of me right now,
I'll throw a bazillion of dimes,
Just to keep you mine.

Just to keep the fragrance of the love that stood between us,
Just to break the walls, and the barricades that we've built,
Just to be with you all over again.

But with the hope that came from wishing to the stars,
Came hopelessness with the thought that you will never come back.
Hopeless, yet hopeful, it is.

And all of a sudden,
After wishing upon the stars and the well,
You came back,
And then said,
Let us part ways.
