From the Depths

From the Depths

A Poem by The Silver Chord

The earth falls  still and shallow.
death infertile and suttle.
Lightning binds bile, a torch to tongue.
Silent nightmares fill the streets.
Houses on a journey, stones wailing in wait.
maelstroms, cataclysm of words and images.
God watched in silence as we destroyed ourselves.
Inevitible they said, only a matter of time.
The earth falls dark and empty.
A mere shadow of its former self.

About
My name is Silver Chord, and I too like to party. Generally I'd like to say that I think way too much. All I ever seem to be doing is thinking, pondering, musing over some random thought or idea. .. more..
