Venture

Venture

A Poem by Silver Silence
"

inspirational

"
she scaled the highest mountain
and stood tall upon its peak
extended her arms to the east and to the west
and let the wind embrace her physique
she spelunked the deepest cave
and laid out among the rocks
pointed her toes to the stalactites up above
and let the dampness lick her golden locks
she dove to the bottom of the sea
and glided along its trench
ran her fingers on the oceanic crust
and let the pressure hug her in a clench
she hiked across the arctic
and kneeled down on the ice
pressed her forehead to the frozen ground
and let the frigid air whisper her advice
she traveled to the middle of the desert
and collapsed right before a mirage
covered herself in the sands of time
and let the sun grant her a heating massage
