attracted to intelligence but it comes with a price

intelligence was a downfall

a gift that came with

paper cuts

arrogant or self-centered

but so deeply understanding

or so I perceived

others had everything else

but the IQ missing

am I

a different sort of shallow?

kindness, fun, true care

yet I felt impatient

attracted to thinkers

matching better with feelers

can someone be both

so foolishly in love

so clever as well

interest me gaze at me
