The Wind Hath Gone AwayA Poem by SilvanSometimes you think you know how the world works, but then it sends you a message. The Wind Hath Gone Away By. Silvan The name I heard could not be found, Nor seen nor heard, it made no sound. The song it sang was soft and sweet, But a bitter end, its voice did meet, And left me in the lonesome. My ears still rang with rivers of love, My heart did beat like a new spring dove. The face I knew had gone astray, The wind had left, it did not stay. It haveth no sound anymore, though I long for its gentle embrace. It wanders by me, as if it not remember my face. I yearn for a sound, a somber song, A simple tune, nothing too long, But she turns her back and forgets. I shan't not cry in longing yearn, She care me not, show no concern. Though the reason why, I will not learn, For the wind hath gone away. © 2018 SilvanAuthor's Note
