Midori had settled Mizuki and Kioko in the day before. "Mizuki! Kioko! Wake up!" Midori yelled and shook them. "Whaaat?" they groaned sleepily. "I only have today to train before my test!" Midori growled impatiently. She had already had her shower and was ready to go. They sat up wearily and got changed out of their pajama's. When they were about to leave, Kioko spoke up "I want a cookie." "You two ate all my cookies last night!" Midori rolled her eyes. "We should get some more!" Mizuki suggested. "Fine. After training." She sighed without much arguement.
With that the three girls left the house and hurried to the training grounds. Right away Midori handed Kiki to Mizuki and started to train hard. She used the clone jutsu she had been taught the day before so that it would be easier to train. The real Midori had the clones attack her full force. She lunged at the nearest clone, driving a powerful punch to its face, spun around and elbowed the another in the gut. One of the clones ducked and tripped her into another ones knee. Quickly Midori grabbed a kunai in each gloved hand and fought relentlessly.
A few hours passed and Mizuki and Kioko had found things to amuse themselves in the meantime under a tree. Midori was exhausted, but did her best to shake it off. "Alright, I'm done for now." she sighed. "Great!" a boy's voice chuckled and Akamaru ran up to her barking happily. Midori bent down and picked him up. "Hey Kiba." she greeted. He walked up to her "Well Akamaru and I have been bored so I was wondering if you'd wanna hang out?" he asked. Midori thought for a moment "Sure." she replied.
Midori could hear murmuring in the backround. She looked over to Mizuki, Kioko and Kiki. Kiba followed her gaze. "Who are they?" he asked with a smirk. "Mizuki and Kioko." Midori sighed. "Friends of yours?" he asked. "You could say that." she answered. Kiba chuckled "Aren't we lucky? We're surrounded by a couple of hotties!" he smiled at Akamaru. Midori shook her head 'Idiot' she thought. Kioko and Mizuki smiled and jumped up. "Hi!" Kioko waved at them smiling like and idiot. "Umm...Hi." Mizuki waved more shyly. "Kioko's from the Sand Village. Mizuki's from the Wave Village." Midori pointed out.
Kiba blinked curiously "So what are Sand and Wave genin doing in Konoha?" he asked. "We're part of this awesome exchange program between the villages and we're supposed to visit the Hokage." Kioko said cheerfully. "Wait. You haven't seen the Hokage yet?" Midori asked. "Nope!" They said in unision. "Your pretty cheerful for someone who's late on letting the Hokage know you're here." Midori smirked. There was a short silence that followed. "Oh my god! We forgot to see the Hokage!" Kioko and Mizuki screamed and looked at eachother. Kiba and Midori exchanged a confused glance. "I guess we can take them to the Hokage first, then we can go from there?" Kiba suggested. Midori was quiet for a moment before she replied "Sure" she shrugged.
"Yay!" Mizuki and Kioko said in unision happily. Out of nowhere the two linked their arms so that Mizuki was on Kiba's right and Kioko was between Kiba and Midori. "What the hell are you doing?" Midori asked in surprise. "We're going to see the Hokage!" Mizuki announced happily. Mizuki and Kioko started to skip happily while dragging Midori and Kiba with them. Akamaru and Kiki followed close behind.
When they arrived at the Hokage Tower Midori had pulled away from the chain. The group of four made their way up the stairs and to the Hokage's office. Midori pulled Kioko and Mizuki off of Kiba and pushed them to the door. She knocked on the door "Lady Tsunade?" "Yes?" came an answer from inside the room. The door was pulled open and it was Shizune. "Hey, these two are from the Sand and Wave villages. They're supposed to meet with Lady Tsunade." Midori introduced blandly. "Ah, Kioko-chan and Mizuki-chan." Shizune nodded. "Who is it?" Tsunade asked impatiently. "It's those exchanges from the Village Hidden in the Waves and the Village Hidden in the Sand with Midori-chan." Shizune had turned around to tell the Hokage. "Alright, send them in." she ordered. "Uh, yes ma'am!" Shizune answered quickly and let them in.
Midori remained in the hallway and leaned against the wall opposite to the door. "They sure are a handful!" Kiba sighed and stood by Midori. Midori sighed as well "Yeah. I hate to admit it, but I actually like having them around." she admitted dryly. Kiba laughed "Well, they are definately something else!" Midori laughed at this. "Yeah, only thing is that they seem to be a lot like Naruto." Kiba smirked. "Yeah, I'm not so sure thats such a good thing..." Midori agreed. Just then the door of the Hokage's office opened again. It was Shizune. "The Hokage wishes to see you." she said and beckoned Midori in. Midori blinked in surprise. "I'll wait down stairs." Kiba said and walked away.
With that, Midori walked into the office to see Kioko and Mizuki standing a metre from Tsunade's desk. Midori stood on Kioko's right. "As you know your friends here are part of an exchange program that helps keep alliances tight. You have yet to recieve a team and official sensei. As such you will be with Mizuki and Kioko under the teachings of Kousuke-sensei." Tsunade informed her. As if on que a young jounin appeared beside Tsunade's desk. He had silvery-blue hair with blue eyes. He wore the standard jounin outfit, black with a green vest, and he had his leaf headband on his upper arm.
"I have a test with Kakashi tomorrow. He said that he'd determine if I become a ninja or not." Midori told Tsunade with a bow of her head. "Yes and I have no doubt you will pass. He said so himself that you would be needing a team and sensei soon so this turned out to be your only option." Tsunade replied with a sly smile. Midori just nodded in acknowledgement. "We'll wait for your results tomorrow so we know your current level. Dismissed." Tsunade said, then waved her hand to show she was done with them.
"This is so great! What are the chances that we'd be put in a squad together!" Kioko squeaked happily. Midori smiled and just kept walking down the stairs. When they reached the bottom there was Kiba standing alone with Akamaru on his head in his hood and he had Kiki in his arms. "Hey." he greeted. Midori smiled and walked over to him. "Thanks for waiting." she said and took Kiki from him.
"Not like I have much of anything else to do." He tossed an arm around Midori's neck smiling. "Guess what! We're a squad now!" Mizuki said happily. "Oh yeah? Who's your sensei?" Kiba asked. "Kousuke-sensei!" Kioko grinned. For the rest of the day Kiba, Kioko, Mizuki and Midori walked around Konoha talking and just hanging out. After it started getting dark they went home. Midori made some supper, then decided to go to bed early so she would be rested up for her test with Kakashi the following day.
