Fetch

After a good day of training the day before, Midori decides to take Kiki out for a walk and perhaps play a small game of fetch, but their seclusion doesn't last very long when old aquaintances say Hi.

Midori woke up early the next morning with Kiki snuggled up with her. Midori got up and so did Kiki. She laid out a food dish and water dish for Kiki while she ate breakfast. Midori changed out of her pajamas which consisted of a purple tank top with dark blue silk pants. She changed into her long black shirt and her navy Capri's and then gave Kiki a nice bath. After that Midori decided to go and explore Konoha. She barely knew anyone at all in the village and she wasn't about to waste her day at home.

After putting her hair up, Midori left her house with Kiki bounding alongside her. Midori decided to let Kiki lead the way since she had nowhere in particular she wanted to go. The brown pup ran ahead, bouncing cheerfully. Soon they came back to the river. Midori had brought Kiki's ball with them so she pulled it out of her pocket. Almost instantly, Kiki ran back up to Midori with her tail wagging and nudging Midori's hand with her muzzle for the ball. Midori sat down in the grass and started to throw the ball for Kiki to fetch. Kiki loved the game and brought it back every time. Kiki had brought it back again and this time Midori threw it farther and it bounced into the bushes. Kiki still dove after it with great speed.

Midori stood up and looked at her hand, remembering her chakra lesson with Sakura. She focused on her hand and it didn't take long before it glowed blue again. 'Kiki's taking too long` Midori thought and closed her hand so the glow dissipated. "Kiki?" she called. No answer. Midori walked over to the trees "Kiki!" she called again, then whistled with two short and one long whistle.

It was a brief moment before she heard familiar barking. It was Kiki, but another voice was mixed with hers. Not far into the trees did a pair of playful puppies chasing one another were heading towards Midori. Right away Midori recognized the extra brown and white pup as Akamaru. Sure enough, as the pups ran up to Midori, Kiba dropped from a tree and was following them. Midori bent down to pet Akamaru and Kiki. "Is she yours?" The canine-like boy asked and bent down to eye-level with Midori. "Yeah, her names Kiki." She said distantly and nuzzled the pointy-eared pup.

Akamaru ran up Midori's right arm to sit on her shoulder. Kiki did the same on the left. Midori stood up and pat the pups heads softly. "She's quite the ball of energy for a pup found stray." Kiba smiled and stood up. Midori gave him a puzzled look. "She told me." Kiba said, indicating with his shoulder to Kiki. "Well thats an interesting quality. Talk with animals." Midori smirked. Kiba came close to Midori so they stood at least a hand-span apart and Akamaru jumped over to him. Midori picked Kiki off her shoulder and held her in her arms. "You haven't had her for long, but she seems really attached to you." Kiba pointed out and took a step back.

He smiled at her and it was obvious he desperately wanted conversation. "Yeah, thats how it is. Hey, I was wondering, could you introduce me to the teams? And perhaps others too?" Midori asked. Kiba looked at her "Sure" he said with a smile. "Okay. I only know Naruto, Sakura, Sasuke, you and that Neji kid." Midori said thoughtfully. "Then I guess you have quite a few people to meet yet. Lets start with my team?" Kiba suggested.

A good story but the use of there names is repetetive, i like the story tho very sweet and nice
but try to switch the names with her , or just ditch them together.. not all the way through obviously lol, but it becomes tedious to read them every second
