Sasuke dragged Midori along for a few minutes, then she started to try and get out of his firm grasp on her hand. "I can walk on my own!" Midori growled and hit his hand with her free one. Sasuke took Midori by surprise by spinning around to face her. He stared into her burning amber eyes, after a heartbeat he finally let go of her hand. Their faces were only an inch apart. Midori balled her hands up in fists. 'What is up with this guy?' Midori wondered suspiciously.
After a few more moments of cold silence, Sasuke turned away and started to walk away. "Grr" Midori growled, then ran up beside Sasuke. Midori gasped as she remembered the cold look of her parents' killers. "Have you ever been to my village before?" Midori asked impatiently. "No" Sasuke answered. "Grow strong. Be filled with hate. Eventually, your life will be mine alone." Midori repeated the words of the figure. Her voice trembled when she spoke. Sasuke looked at Midori. "You.." he began, then cut off. "We're here. I'll buy your supplies." he said and grabbed Midori's hand then dragged her inside a weapon store.
He let go when they were inside. "What weapon's do you want?" Sasuke pointed to different kinds of weapons that were put up on the walls for display. I don't know, never used any of them before." Midori said reluctantly. "Fine,. Kunai, Shuriken, and a weapon's pouch. One Twin-bladed Kunai too." Sasuke told the store person. Midori watched as everything was piled neatly into a bag. Her amber eyes were wide at the sight of the Twin-blade. It looked very affective and dangerous. Midori smiled at the thought of using such a weapon against the person who wished to claim her life.
Midori shook herself out of her dazed state and ran after Sasuke who had already made it out the door. "So those are the weapons I get to use?" she smiled at Sasuke. "All but one." Sasuke answered her and handed her the pouch with the Kunai and Shuriken inside. "Why not the Twin-blade?" she asked curiously. "Because you might kill yourself if you use it too soon." Sasuke answered bluntly. Midori glared at Sasuke "I assume you can use it?" she said sharply. "Yes." Sasuke answered plainly. "Humph." Midori grunted disappointedly. The rest of the walk was soundless, except for the sound of their feet hitting the ground with every step.
