The Predator Millionaires.

The Predator Millionaires.

A Poem by Kristine Ferg

What happens

to the woman with the dim perspective?

does she lie to her children

about their starry eyed dreams?

What would a poor man give

to stand in open fields

with his walls put down

forever?

it's the grimace of a doll like you

that sends them raking your leaves,

with the prescence of a sneer

and a chiding air

while you walk out the door

and soak up what's left of their livelihood

with a broke down bag, and a luggage rack,

but in the end,

what do you really care?

I'm just another person. Just like you; my art the object of knowledge in understanding who I am and how I am. And that, simply, is enough about me. more..
