Can't Stop

Can't Stop

A Poem by Kristine Ferg

Your eyes, ablaze,

like a world I've never been to,

locked in so tight,

so graceful, and out-rightly

damned.

You send me away,

break these bearings, I can't

take the chance no more,

pushing luck for all who hang

and weigh their pennies heads side up,

kissing in the hopes of love

and dressing for the right occasions

lest, you find my heart a basin

lined with every cast to bind you

tight.

but I won't forsake you-----

time's up.

About
I'm just another person. Just like you; my art the object of knowledge in understanding who I am and how I am. And that, simply, is enough about me. more..
