As We Wander

As We Wander

A Poem by Kristine Ferg

brushed over rose petals,

lips like the fall to her

with rain water falling,

a generous flow to bask them both.

How deep the mind to quench it,

tender; as though quiet air

was all one could ever need.

None to act for more.

so she dare quench it,

selfish in the lot of the land,

to hunger for more on rose petal lips

living long like a new song dusted with grace,

and trusted,

as if a knot on a string.

Oh.. you're very cunning with choosing your manifested "titles" ..

"As We Wander" sounds like: Lovers wandering across the garden of usk or heaven & walking through the fairy woodland.. with love, peace and delights... but when I read your words, It sounds magically rejoiced .. it's 'bout hanging out with the pleasure of lips not with the garden of usk.. *kidding* Very beautiful poetry you write on. I kinda like the choice of your words, indeed.
