Reptilian Female, Call Unto Me Your Name

Reptilian Female, Call Unto Me Your Name

A Poem by Kristine Ferg

sun and moon:

clear as the skies, we are;

nestled in deep cabinets for a while.

We rest our weary souls here,

separated, by a debt we dare to pay,

and we'll still squander past appearances

as though it was painful to the grave,

like lone children weeping

of a mother's end.

no longer  hearing how much I wanted it,

I gaze upon these old french doors

without a care;

wondering to myself why had I

never dared

to put such selfish thoughts aside

and simply delve,

in you?

how foolish thoughts had come again,

I shall cast them away--

forget me inamorata!

For I am useless yet again!

and still I lay here, cast,

don't look away, now...

for I will never cast you into stone.

About
I'm just another person. Just like you; my art the object of knowledge in understanding who I am and how I am. And that, simply, is enough about me. more..
