On Angel's Wings

On Angel's Wings

A Poem by Kristine Ferg

Beautiful angel,

why are you leaving me now?

I tried to tell you,

but the words just crumbled down

while your heart, I heard it sing,

like a ringing of the caroled bells,

and your voice, it won't be beat,

for you

are on angels wings,

ah.

As a lone child, I saw you high,

beauty like a butterfly,

formed and changed through nature's means,

where you lived in

harmony,

and I should hope you lived

with highest means

and your words were true and trite,

for I know not why you

hang your head,

while your beauty

shines outright?

so I tried to tell you,

but my verse just fell apart,

while your heart, I heard it sing,

like a ringing of caroled bells,

for here your voice, it can't be beat

because you

are on angels wings.....
