Foolish To Fawn Over Them

Foolish To Fawn Over Them

A Poem by Kristine Ferg

Reach high,

don't be shy,

candle light was made for two.

liking lunges,

counting our grudges,

and making such assumptions

that lead to the grave

presumptions....

do you

know me

like you knew all the others?

cold, torn like paper tears,

caught you with a dew,

while the sirens sing,

pull you in

how foolishly

you think they love you.

About
I'm just another person. Just like you; my art the object of knowledge in understanding who I am and how I am. And that, simply, is enough about me. more..
